Abstract

Language is the most important means of communication in the world today. Many different languages are used, all of which facilitate communication with other people. This research aims to uncover issues in Arabic language learning, including curriculum, teacher qualifications, and learning materials. Furthermore, challenges in Arabic language learning arise because Arabic is not a language commonly used or spoken in everyday life and is very different from Indonesian. This research design uses a qualitative descriptive approach based on a literature review or library research. Literature research can be conducted by collecting references from previous research and then compiling the results. Behaviorist theory is a method used in Arabic language learning to change student behavior through the interaction of stimulus and response. This method involves methods such as reinforcement, punishment, shaping, extinction, and antecedents, which are effective in developing habits such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
