Author Guidelines

The journal invites scholars and experts working in the fields of Social, Politics, and Government. Submitted articles must be original, research-based, unpublished, and not under review for publication in any other journal. All manuscripts will be reviewed by editors and blind peer reviewers.

Articles must be written in standard Indonesian or English, with a length of approximately 4000–7000 words, including text, tables, figures, notes, references, and appendices (if any).

Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system at the e-journal portal: https://journal.habepublisher.com/cabinet/about/submissions

Article Structure:

  1. Title
    The title should be concise, clear, informative, and reflect the article's content. Each word in the title should begin with a capital letter. The maximum length is 14 words or 100 characters, excluding spaces. Subtitles may be added to define the scope more precisely.

  2. Author’s Names and Affiliations
    Author names should appear without academic or professional titles. Institutional affiliations, postal addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers should be provided.

  3. Abstract
    The abstract must be written in one paragraph in both English and Indonesian, with a maximum of 200 words and 3–5 keywords. It should include a brief background, the purpose of the study, methodology, results, and implications. No citations should appear in the abstract.

  4. Article Body

    • Articles based on field research should include: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion.

    • Articles based on library or conceptual research should include: Introduction, Discussion, and Conclusion.

  5. References

    • Preferably include sources published within the last 10 years.

    • It is recommended to use Mendeley as the reference manager for formatting citations and the bibliography.

    • All notes must appear as in-text citations.

    • A typical citation includes the author’s last name, year of publication, and page number(s) if applicable.

    • Explanatory footnotes may be used, but not for citations.

    • All cited works must appear in the reference list at the end of the article.

  6. Reference Format (APA Style)

    • Books:

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
