FOCUS

Quiz: Journal of Education and Learning focuses on the advancement of educational theory and practice through the development and implementation of innovative instructional strategies, technology integration, curriculum reform, teacher professionalism, and student learning enhancement.

It aims to explore a wide range of educational domains including effective teaching and learning models, digital and inclusive learning environments, educational assessment, character education, and language acquisition. Furthermore, the journal examines the impact of educational leadership and policy in enhancing instructional quality and student achievement, with a particular emphasis on both the Indonesian context and a broader global perspective.

SCOPE

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:

1. Teaching and Learning Models
   Innovative pedagogical approaches such as inquiry-based learning, cooperative and collaborative learning, problem-based and project-based learning, and technology-supported instructional strategies that foster student engagement, critical thinking, and deep understanding.

2. Curriculum and Instructional Development
   Design, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum frameworks that address 21st-century competencies. Topics include the integration of local wisdom, ethnopedagogy, thematic learning, and competency-based curricula that promote student-centered and culturally relevant education.

3. Technology-Enhanced Learning
   Utilization of digital technologies such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mobile learning, e-learning platforms, flipped classrooms, and STEM education to reshape the learning experience and build essential digital and computational skills.

4. Teacher Professional Development and Pedagogical Competency
   Focuses on teacher training, professional growth, and pedagogical effectiveness. Key topics include emotional intelligence, teacher motivation, performance evaluation, school leadership, supervision practices, and the development of reflective and adaptive educators.

   Development and application of assessment tools and models to evaluate student learning. Includes higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) assessments, authentic assessment methods, and evaluation frameworks such as the Kirkpatrick model.

   Cultivation of moral values, civic responsibility, and emotional maturity in students. Topics include the development of Pancasila student profiles, motivation, learning interest, and inclusive and participatory classroom environments.

   Language acquisition strategies, literacy development, and bilingual education. Topics include English language learning, reading comprehension improvement, digital literacy integration, and multicultural education in language learning.

8. Educational Psychology and Student Learning Behavior
   Psychological influences on student achievement including learning environments, cognitive styles, self-regulation, and the role of guidance and counseling in academic and personal growth.

9. Special and Inclusive Education
   Educational strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners. Topics include teaching strategies for students with special needs, development of inclusive learning materials, and the effectiveness of differentiated instruction in heterogeneous classrooms.

10. Leadership and Policy in Education
    Educational governance, school leadership, and policy analysis. Topics include leadership competencies, implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, and policy innovations aimed at educational transformation and institutional improvement.
